The following model tests either have been or will be performed for the KVLCC1: 

• PMM tests in deep water with appended hull (MOERI) ^(#)
• PMM tests in shallow water with appended hull (INSEAN)
• CMT test + supplementary PMM test in deep water with appended hull (NMRI)
• Free model tests in deep water (HSVA)

^{(#) Note that PMM tests at MOERI were carried out at full scale self-propulsion point.}
